Suche / Indy Verkleidung gesucht - eGPU

Hallo,
Ich habe mir eine E-GPU Box gebaut und dazu ne Indy als Gehäuse genommen.
Das Ganze ist etwas höher geworden und ein Typ gab mir den spitzen Tipp einfach noch ein paar Seiten der Verkleidung drunter zu kleben.
Bräuchte also quasi nur das Plastikgehäuse.
.. würde dann echt nach nem fetten Indy-Power-Rack aussehen und hat mit ner GTX590 und ner GTX 780 Ti tasächlich etwas mehr Dampf als 2 oder 3 Indy's hatten. ????

Läuft dann via miniPCIexpress und ExpressCardSlot an nem T420 mit OTOY's Octane Render..

SGI Origin 2000 ( 2200 ?)  - Deskside


2 Nodeboards mit je 2x IP27@300 Mhz (4x CPU)

2 GB RAM (8x 256 MB, je 4 pro Nodeboard)

~ 550 GB HDD's

müsste Irix 6.5.13 installiert sein oder 6.5.12.

Hab mal noch nen Pixar Renderman (ohne lic) und aqsis, neko_pixie und neko_drqueue + deren Abhängigkeiten installiert aber nicht weiter eingerichtet.

Ansonsten ist nix Besonderes installiert. Ftp mal eingerichtet, telnet läuft, ssh v1.

Kiste läuft problemlos, keine Macken. Eine leichte Schramme in der Front die man vlt. auch rauspoliert bekommt, hat mich nicht weiter gestört.

Die Ecken (Verkleidung) habe ich mit Isoklebeband fixiert weil die gelegentlich runtergefallen sind (Holzboden in dem Zimmer) was mich irgendwann tierisch genervt hat, halten normalerweise auch so.

Hinten rechts die Ecke fehlt (s. auch Rückseitenfoto).

Bissl staubig ist's auch, sieht man ja auf den Fotos.


Bin immer mit "putty" per Nullmodemkabel oder eben mit Crossoverkabel per telnet oder ssh drangegangen.

Ich zieh demnächst um und darum muß das Schätzchen weg..

Lizenzen von Avid Media Illusion und Chyron Liberty sowie Sapphire Sparks und Maya

inkl. Wacom Din A3 abzugeben.

Da ist natürlich noch sonst alles was es so gab mit drauf
von Lightwave bis Pixar Renderman.

Da ist ne 40 GB Festplatte mit dem ganzen Zeugs dabei - Autocad, das ganze Discreet Zeugs e.t.c.

Hi,
hab noch zwei von diesen Kunststoffabdeckungen die in der Origin/Onyx stecken wenn nicht alle Festplatten belegt sind, zu verschenken.
Zu schade um sie in den Müll zu werfen, hab aber auch keine Verwendung dafür.

Das sind nur Abdeckungen für den sonst offenen Festplattenplatz

Hallo,

habe beim Neueinbau einer Festplatte den Ordner /usr/aw/maya2.0 komplett kopiert und habe nun Probleme mit einer nicht aufzufindenden libOpenMayaUI.so.2. ???

Auf der O2 ist ne Lizens - aber keine CD dabei gewesen. :(

Hat irgendwer noch die Installationsmedien oder ne *.tardist ?

Mein swmgr spinnt seit gestern.
Hatte ne tardist installieren wollen, er fing auch an sie zu öffnen und hing dann.

Seit dem immer dasselbe: kann eine Distri Laden (oder was auch immer) und es geht nur bis 15 %

Da gab es auch mal einen Trick mit dieser rqsall - Geschichte die sich ja manchmal aufhängt...
... irgendwo irgendwas löschen oder so.

Aber ob das damit zusammen hängt.. ?

Auch keinerlei Hinweise in /var/inst

Hallo,

hab meiner O2 mal ne neue Platte gegönnt. 18 GB sind ja nicht grade mehr zeitgemäß...

Jetzt habe ich allerdings keine Installationsmedien nur noch Oberlays -

Gibt es eine Möglichkeit die Platte 1 zu 1 zu kopieren ?

Ich stelle mir das so vor:

Die neue Platte in HDD Slot 2 und die HDD mit dem System natürlich in 1.
Booten und die Daten rüberclonen - allerdings müsste dabei auch ein Bootflag gesetzt werden.

Gibt SGI die Bootmedien eigentlich mittlerweile frei? Irix ist ja seit 2006 off....
